31. BY PERSEVERANCE THE SNAIL REACHED THE ARK.
Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) says:
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.”
32. THE WORST MOMENT FOR THE ATHEIST IS WHEN HE IS REALLY THANKFUL AND HAS NOBODY TO THANK.
Psalm 53:1-3 (NIV) says:
“The fool says in his heart, ‘There is no God.’ They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.”
33. IT IS POSSIBLE TO BE TOO BIG FOR GOD TO USE YOU BUT NEVER TOO SMALL FOR GOD TO USE YOU.
Proverbs 29:23 (NIV) says:
“Pride brings a person low, but the lowly in spirit gain honor.”
34. KINDNESS GIVES BIRTH TO KINDNESS.
Proverbs 11:17 (NIV) says:
“Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.”
35. SOME MINDS ARE LIKE CONCRETE – THOROUGHLY MIXED AND PERMANENTLY SET.
Proverbs 13:10 (NIV) says:
“Where there is strife, there is pride, but wisdom is found in those who take advice.”
36. THE FIRST RULE OF HOLES: WHEN YOU’RE IN ONE, STOP DIGGING.
Psalm 40:2-3 (NIV) says:
“He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.”
37. A DAY HEMMED IN PRAYER IS LESS LIKELY TO UNRAVEL.
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) says:
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
38. HE WHO PROVIDES FOR THIS LIFE, BUT TAKES NO CARE FOR ETERNITY, IS WISE FOR A MOMENT BUT A FOOL FOREVER.
Matthew 16:23 (NIV) says:
“Jesus turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns.’”
39. AT TIMES, IT IS BETTER TO KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT AND LET PEOPLE WONDER IF YOU’RE A FOOL THAN TO OPEN IT AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT.
Proverbs 17:28 (NIV) says:
“Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.”
40. SOMETIMES THE LORD CALMS THE STORM, SOMETIMES HE LETS THE STORM RAGE AND CALMS HIS CHILD.
Philippians 4:7 (NIV) says:
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
